Born in Caracas, Venezuela, I’ve been surrounded by flavors and culinary traditions since childhood. Food has always been more than nourishment to me, it’s been a lifelong source of curiosity, joy, and connection. Over the years, I’ve worked in nearly every position across New York City’s restaurant world, both back-of-house and front-of-house, and served as a private pastry chef for diverse organizations. Today, I live in Saratoga Springs with my husband, where, though I now work in early childhood education, my passion for food and storytelling continues to guide me.

I’m endlessly inspired by the history behind ingredients, the creativity of chefs, and the cultures that shape every plate. Through The Culinary Chronicle, I share honest reflections on restaurants, food trucks, and culinary experiences, exploring flavors, textures, service, and ambiance. My critiques aren’t meant as absolute judgments, but as personal accounts of the meals I’ve lived through, and the people and stories behind them. Occasionally, I also delve into food news and concepts that spark curiosity or conversation.

Food is a journey, and I’m excited to share mine with you.
